Neema is a corporate attorney at Equinox Business Law Group, where he works with businesses at various stages of their development. A graduate of both the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and School of Law, Neema previously worked at several Seattle-based technology start-up companies, as well as at the UW Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he provided critical early-stage legal and business counseling to technology entrepreneurs, small business owners, social entrepreneurs, and nonprofits.

Neema comes from a long line of business owners and grew up working in his parents’ restaurants and print shops, which sparked his desire to work with small businesses and entrepreneurs. In his first year of law school, Neema co-founded a tech company with two colleagues that introduced him to Seattle’s flourishing startup community and gave him unique insight into the inner workings of technology companies. He was also a founding member and vice president of both the Minority Law Student Association and the Sports and Entertainment Law Association at UW.

Neema is licensed to practice in Washington state. He is fluent in Farsi.
